Lynne’s first experience with physical therapy as a high school athlete sparked her interest in the profession and motivated her to learn more as a volunteer at Marlboro Hospital. After graduating with her degree, Lynne began her career at Metrowest Medical Center, which allowed her to work in both acute inpatient and outpatient settings. She treated post-operative, neurological, pulmonary, vestibular, and general orthopedic patients. She was also trained by a board-certified vestibular PT to treat patients with dizziness and imbalance. In addition, she led the pulmonary rehab program to treat patients with lung dysfunction. Lynne has spent the last several years working in a private outpatient clinic treating children, athletes, the elderly, and all ages in between; this included orthopedic/sports injuries, balance, vestibular and post-operative patients.
Lynne places a strong emphasis on the importance of proper posture, breathing and body mechanics to prevent re-injury. She has a strong interest in foot and ankle biomechanics and injuries, along with an interest in patients who suffer from dizziness/vestibular dysfunction. She enjoys the challenge of working with athletes and training them to get back to their respective sports, though also finds it rewarding to see patients of all ages return to their optimal activity level.
Lynne played soccer throughout her childhood on several teams and in tournaments throughout New England. She also played Division 1 soccer in college and into her adult life. In her spare time, Lynne enjoys being outdoors, running and spending time with her family.
