Topic: Pelvic Health and Diaphragmatic Breathing
Julia Leblanc, PT, DPT, RYT, COMT is a native of Shrewsbury and completed her physical therapy degree from Simmons College in Boston in 2005. She is the Clinical Manager for Flaherty Physical Therapy’s Northborough office. She has been practicing physical therapy for the past 18 years. She has completed a Level 1 Pelvic Health course through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and established a Pelvic Health Program at Flaherty Physical Therapy in 2022. She is also a certified Yoga instructor and incorporates yoga into her PT practice.

Elena Moglia was a former competitive gymnast and later became an apprentice to the New Jersey Ballet Company until she decided to pursue physical therapy at Boston University. She is the Clinical Manager of the Hudson office of Flaherty Physical Therapy. Elena’s strong passion for movement and dance lead her to become interested in Pilates in 2006. She obtained her STOTT PILATES© certification through the advanced level in mat, reformer, and all equipment in 2008. She is also certified in Zumba, Total Barre and TRX and taught all these fitness approaches at The Core Connection in Northborough for over thirteen years. She holds certifications in orthopedic manual therapy as well as dry needling.

Topic: Balancing Hormones and Increasing Vitality with Acupressure
Melissa Stein has been working in the field of health and wellness for over 25 years. Beginning as a yoga and meditation practitioner, she went on to study massage therapy and then acupuncture/Chinese medicine. She has continued her education in the areas of women’s health, fertility, pain relief, and pediatric acupuncture. She is passionate about educating her patients on the best ways for them to support their healing through self-care approaches such as acupressure, yoga, stretching, nutritional support and stress relieving techniques. Melissa thrives in a practice that prioritizes social connection, group healing energy and the benefits both can provide to her patients as well as the overall community.

Topic: Cultivating an Emotional Wellness Mindset
Dr. Warkentin has experience working in a wide range of treatment settings, including outpatient clinics, nursing homes, veteran’s affairs medical center, Emergency Departments, residential treatment programs, and locked inpatient units. In addition to her clinical experience, she worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of New Hampshire and served as the Director of Professional Affairs for the Massachusetts Psychological Association, advocating for improvements in mental health-related legislation, regulations, and health plan policies. She opened her solo private practice in 2017, and in early 2022, she expanded it into a group counseling practice, Essential Insights Counseling Center.
