Concussion Management
A concussion is an awful feeling. Usually dizziness, feeling lethargic and not yourself are all common causes. We work with all types of concussions, those that are sports specific, work related and or auto accident related. We stress getting you back to your normal life as quickly as we can while we address your vestibular, balance and function issues.
Instrument Assisted Massage
Also known as myofascial massage or Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). All of our therapists are trained in the proper use of using instruments to help loosen up those tight muscles. Our therapists use instruments from Hawk Grips and have advanced training from Hawk Grips and The Graston Techinque.
Falls Risk Assessment
As we age, the risk of falls increases when we loose strength, loose balance, get more anxious and loose confidence. We have developed a Senior fall risk assessment program. We teach seniors about their risk of falling as well as what to do about it. We stress postural awareness, strength training and balance training to address this difficult problem.
Pediatric Physical Therapy
Our goal is to minimize disability and impact of injuries so that your child can get back to the activities they do best – play, attend school, and participate in sport and community activities. Pediatric PT promotes independence, increases participation, promotes motor development, improves strength and endurance, and enhances learning and growth opportunities.
