When her children came along, she made the decision to put her career on hold to be a full-time mother.
While raising her family, Kim held several part time jobs including working in the elementary schools for many years, in retail management, and most recently in the accounting department of a manufacturing company. At the same time, she worked on a horse farm caring for the animals while reaping the benefits of physical activity and working outside.
In addition to raising her children and working part time, Kim held numerous leadership positions with the parent organizations in the Oxford Public Schools. At every level of education, she gave her time, led volunteers, organized activities and raised much needed funds for the schools.
Kim is a member of the Blackstone Valley Art Association. She leads a book club and belongs to a creative writing group. She enjoys reading, creative writing, photography, hiking, camping, snowmobiling and most especially spending time with her family and friends.
